These handwarmers run on a slow burning fuel stick which heats up the velvet covered stainless steel case and provides maximum heat in all weather conditions. All instructions are provided and the slow burning fuel sticks are available to buy separately at a price of £3.50 for a pack of 12, the intensity of the Gelert Pocket Hand warmer can be raised by lighting the fuel stick at both ends, but this will shorten the burn time.
